City Employee Tour
Several Bowling Green
city employees were given a special tour of the railcars Tuesday
July 13, 2002. City Manager Chuck Coates held a city employee
meeting at the Depot. A luncheon was held in the lobby of
the depot where red railroad bandanas were used as table decorations.
Prior to the meeting, employees were given a special tour of the
rail cars by the HRC volunteers.

City employees gathered in the depot parking where
Dorian Walker, Chairman of the Historic Railroad Committee, gave
the group a brief history of how the rail car exhibit came into
being and other information on the rail cars they were about to
tour.

Kay Zoretic and Duncan McKenzie (left) wait to take the city employees
through the rail cars. Both provide brief histories of the cars
and related railroad stories throughout the tour.
