Facility Rentals

The Historic L&N Depot is available for your corporate, civic or social events. The Depot represents a unique and elegant atmosphere for special occasions. Accommodations include tables (round and rectangular), chairs, tablecloths, and a special room designed specifically for catering with its own discreet entrance. Variable lighting will set the tone for events and a service bar in the Meeting/Reception Room may be used for food/beverage service, guest check-in, material distribution and many other purposes. Daytime events such as luncheons, meetings, training sessions, corporate retreats or event family reunions may be scheduled in the Depot, including the Lobby and Meeting/Reception Room. The Duncan Hines Dining Car, which seats 48, may also be rented for evening events, or you may enjoy the intimacy of the Executive Dining Room on the unique L&N Presidential Railcar, which seats 6. The day is made extra special with a tour of the railcars in the Historic Railpark.

Evening events, such as wedding receptions, dinners, cocktail parties, anniversary parties, rehearsal dinners and birthday parties take on a added elegance when hosted in the L&N Depot, Duncan Hines Dining Car or the Executive Dining Room on the Presidential Railcar.

Deposits

To secure the rental date: 1/2 rental rate down plus payment of the Security Deposit of $200. Security Deposit is returned if rooms are left in "as found" condition.

Liquor

Alcohol beverage service must be catered by a vendor with a Caterer's Liquor License.

Please Note:

This is a basic rate schedule and is subject to change. Rentals include use of 15 round tables, 20 rectangle tables and 140 chairs. Linens are available at extra charge. Length of rental includes setup and breakdown time We will setup tables and chairs and breakdown the same for a $200 fee. For social events involving alcohol beverage service, a security guard is recommended. Other charges may apply. Lobby capacity is 120 seated/200 standing. Meeting Room is 60 seated/100 standing.
