SUMMARY:Rare Cars on Special Exhibit- August 26th 2023
DESCRIPTION:Our three non toured cars- the #89456 WWII Hospital Car\, our #109 Segregated Passenger Car\, and #6497 L&N Caboose will be on exhibit this Saturday\, August 26th! From 9:00am-4:00pm\, RailPark visitors will be able to learn the history of these cars\, presented by a RailPark guide in an informal walk-through session of each car. \nAdmission rates will be slightly increased this Saturday since these never-before-seen cars are available for a rare glimpse. Adult admission rates for those ages 13-59 are $20 for the guided Railcar tours\, museum\, and rare car hosting. Seniors age 60 and above\, military veterans\,  and WKU students (please show ID) will be $19 for the guided Railcar tour\, museum\, and rare car hosting. Active military members\, (please show ID\, admission rate is for service member ONLY) children age 5-10\, and children under 4 have their standard admission rates. \nIf guests are solely interested in seeing the rare cars\, it is a $10 admission. \nGuests will be provided an armband in order to view the rare cars. \nThe sHOw Modular Model Railroad Club is also having its annual train show and sale during this time for a $5 admission.
