At the Historic RailPark & Train Museum, we love sharing the untold stories of Bowling Green. Our UnSeen BG Tour program takes visitors beyond the museum walls and into the city’s most mysterious, inspiring, and sometimes mischievous corners. We are thrilled to announce that our UnSeen BG Tour program has once again been recognized on the state level. At the 2025 Kentucky Travel Industry Association (KTIA) Traverse Awards for Excellence in Tourism Marketing, our newest production, REAL Housewives of BG, earned a Bronze Award in Destination Management within the Attraction, Tour Operator or Event Division.
The Destination Management category recognizes projects that enhance a destination’s local and visitor experiences, highlighting how tourism organizations create value for their communities, local businesses, and guests.
Our REAL Housewives of BG tour does exactly that. It reimagines Bowling Green’s history through the lens of its most dynamic women, past and present, mixing humor, drama, and southern charm to give visitors a fresh way to experience the city. The tour deepens engagement, encourages repeat visitation, and strengthens Bowling Green’s reputation as a destination that celebrates storytelling, creativity, and connection.
