The Historic RailPark & Train Museum is excited to share a new way you can support our mission: by donating your vehicle.
Located along the key north-south corridor between Louisville and Nashville, Bowling Green has always played a central role in Kentucky’s transportation story. From the days of steamboats on the Barren River, to the heyday of the railroad, and now modern interstate systems, our community has always been on the move. At the heart of that legacy stands the L&N Depot, built in 1925 and once bustling with over 20 daily trains. Today, the RailPark brings that era back to life through hands-on exhibits, restored railcars, and educational programming that honors our transportation heritage.
The RailPark is powered by passion, but it also depends on the generous support of donors like you. All proceeds from our museum, gift shop, and railcar tours go directly toward the continued restoration of our historic railcars and development of immersive, Smithsonian-quality exhibits.
Now, there’s a brand-new way to give back: donating your vehicle. Whether it’s a car, truck, motorcycle, RV, or even a boat, your vehicle donation can make a lasting impact. The process is simple, your donation is tax-deductible, and the proceeds go directly to the Friends of L&N Depot, the nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing the magic of rail history.
