Duncan Hines Days – Join us to Dine with Duncan!

The Historic RailPark & Train Museum will take part in celebrating Duncan Hines Days as a part of the city festival being held in Bowling Green, Kentucky. On select dates during the June 5th to 11th festival, the RailPark will be offering a special tour series to include a unique dining experience with none other than Duncan Hines. Guests will meet a character portraying the famous food critic and enjoy lunch or dinner on our Duncan Hines railcar. These dining tours are available June 7th, 9th, & 10th.

In addition to this, our “Waiting on Duncan” event is another character led tour experience. Guests will embark on a tour of our restored railcars and then join a character portraying a train passenger on our Duncan Hines railcar. A character depicting a train passenger will share a fascinating story about the life of Duncan Hines. Scheduled for June 8th and 11th, this event promises to be an unforgettable journey into the past.

Mini Trolley Tours with Duncan Hines – June 8th

The Bowling Green Trolley will offer one day complimentary tours during the Duncan Hines Days festival. Our Mini Trolley Tours with Duncan Hines will share how the man behind the cake mix got his start right here in Bowling Green!

Thursday, June 8th, these 30-minute tours will start at SOKY Marketplace and will run 6:00pm – 8:00pm. The Bowling Green Trolley will take guests on a tour through downtown Bowling Green to highlight points of interest related to Duncan’s upbringing. The tours will be operated in conjunction with ice cream social on that evening. No tickets are needed, seats are first come first serve.
