RailPark Volunteer Named Best Attraction Volunteer

We are proud to share that one of our dedicated volunteers has been recognized at the 4th Annual SKy Hospitality Star Awards, which celebrate outstanding hospitality and tourism professionals across the Bowling Green area.

Since joining the Historic RailPark & Train Museum in early 2021, Priscilla Ferrell has made a lasting impact through her expertise, generosity, and enthusiasm. With decades of experience in retail buying and display design, Priscilla transformed our gift shop into a vibrant, curated space that enhances the visitor experience and supports the museum through increased retail revenue.

She regularly refreshes displays, researches new merchandise, and aligns the shop with seasonal themes and special events, providing professional expertise that small museums rarely have access to. Her work allows staff to focus on core responsibilities while benefiting from a retail operation designed by an expert.

Beyond the gift shop, Priscilla supports major events, assists with décor, attends programs, and brings others into the RailPark community. She and her husband, Blaine, are also proud donors, further demonstrating their commitment to our mission.

Priscilla’s joyful presence and collaborative spirit have left a lasting impression on both our visitors and staff. Her contributions have strengthened a critical part of our operation and created meaningful, long-term impact. We are incredibly grateful for her service and proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.
