Summer BG Wine Fest: Let’s Recap!
We sipped, we shopped, and we snacked at the 5th Annual BG Wine Fest, presented by Bluegrass Clinics. It was a fabulous summer festival held on Saturday, July 8th at the Historic RailPark! The event is held on the second Saturday in July. So, you can go ahead and SAVE THE DATE, July 14th, 2024.
Now back to the fun and festivities held just a few short days ago. We welcomed 500+ friends to the RailPark on that day. With ticket holders, winery staff, food vendors, craft vendors, volunteers, sponsors, musicians, and staff… we were a BIG crowd.
Our attendees enjoyed wine tastings from 11 different wineries in the Kentucky Winery Association and entertained with live music throughout the day presented by Marquee Backstage. We had local food trucks serving fresh foods, plus shopping from the various craft booths selling homemade jewelry, clothing, and more!
This year we sold a limited number of VIP tickets! All attendees went home with a commemorative wine sampling glass and keepsake wine tote filled with goodies. We also witnessed many of those wine totes filled with some great wines to take home.
Many festival attendees spent time in our Wine Down Tent enjoying the sounds from Trevor Martin, The Wonderful Nobodies and Mercy Bell! A BIG thank you to our friends at Marquee Backstage for putting together this amazing lineup of musicians.
If you were unable to attend this wonderful event, fret not! We hold our Wine Fest every year on the second Saturday of July. Go ahead and mark your calendars for the 2024 BG Wine Fest! Sunning and wine tasting with amazing Kentucky wineries, great food, and shopping vendors is always the perfect way to celebrate summertime.
